Two ways to compete — or collaborate.

Collaborative Menu Experience

The whole group works station-to-station on one shared menu, then sits down together to eat what they made.

Hands-On Culinary Experience

Teams compete head-to-head on a themed or timed challenge, judged by Chef Teena — a higher-energy option for smaller groups. For larger groups, Activation pairings are recommended.

Culinary themes

Pick a theme, not a fixed menu.

Because great ingredients are seasonal, we build every session around a theme rather than a locked menu — so what you get is always fresh, never repeated from a printed list.

...to name a few! Every theme can be tailored to your team's size, dietary needs, and format.

Before you book

Planning your event.

Here's everything we'll work through together — and what to have ready before your first call.

1

Group size & format

In-person, virtual, or hybrid — team building cooking experiences are custom-designed. We've worked with groups as small as 10 and as large as 100.

2

Duration & timing

From a 1.5-hour workshop to a 2.5-hour premium experience — an interactive hands-on cooking class followed by a seated meal. Events can begin any time of day, as early as 11am and as late as 6:30pm.

3

Venue & equipment

Your office, our shared kitchen, or a partner venue — each has different space and power needs. See Activations for our venue partners.

4

Dietary & allergy needs

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher, and nut allergies are collected before the event, not on the day of. Every menu is built around fresh, wholesome ingredients by default.

5

Budget & pricing

Starting at $100 per person for team-building; ask for a detailed quote after your consultation. A deposit is required to secure your event day. No additional taxes — gratuities are always appreciated. No corkage fees, so feel free to bring your own wine or beer.

6

Lead time

We recommend booking 3–4 weeks out; 6+ weeks for groups over 100 or during Q4 holiday season.

7

Procurement & paperwork

Certificate of insurance (COI) if you plan to bring wine & beer, and easy Square invoicing available for finance and procurement teams.

8

Add-ons

Wine & beverage pairing, branded aprons, printed recipe cards, and event photography, available on request.

A closer look

How one team turned an offsite into a memory.

A wealth management team of over 20 people wanted their offsite to feel different — less conference room, more genuine connection. Chef Teena led the group through a hands-on Indian vegetarian feast, splitting the team into cooking stations and guiding everyone from knife skills to the final plating.

By the time the meal hit the table, the room had shifted — colleagues who barely spoke day-to-day were trading cooking tips and laughing over shared plates. It's the kind of result that's hard to plan for directly, but consistently shows up when a team cooks together instead of just eating together.

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management · Team Building Event

When the Day One team ran behind schedule on arrival, Chef Teena and her staff adjusted on the fly — handling prep work themselves so the class still finished on time, without anyone feeling rushed. That kind of flexibility set the tone for the whole event: clear instructions, assigned roles so everyone had a job, and a vegetarian option built in without anyone having to ask twice.

The little touches made it memorable — the team's own company logo up on the TV so it felt like their space, and ice cream at the end that one attendee called the best part of the whole day. Good food, good value, and a laid-back sense of humor running through it all.

What teams tell us afterward.

A few highlights from real client feedback.

★★★★★ 4.9 (69 reviews on Yelp)

A full 5-course menu, four cooking teams working side by side — everyone jumped in and created something they wouldn't have dared try alone.

Guidewire Software · Team Building Event

One reviewer called their team's cooking class one of the best evenings they'd spent together, praising how sophisticated techniques were made approachable for a group with no professional cooking background.

Bill Draper, Sutter Hill Ventures

Chef Teena's team had everything prepared perfectly — every single employee came away raving, and we'd book the same team again in a heartbeat.

Neurotrack · Team Building Event

From planning to pricing to a final surprise dessert — 22 of us had a genuinely great team event, and the accolades were still pouring in the next morning.

Wonderful to work with, very engaging with our clients, reliable and efficient — the spring roll workshop was a hit, and we'd love to book them again.

Maya Rijhwani, April 2026

A great way for our small remote team to feel connected — our teacher went above and beyond with live tutorial clips, early shipping for rural addresses, and even a surprise batch of holiday cookies.

Angela Agresto, December 2022

A pleasure to work with while planning our team building event — everyone had a great time, and I'm already recommending her to others in my company looking for offsite fun.

Tim Jones, December 2021

Warm and welcoming from the start — divided into teams with clear roles, checked on throughout, and treated to appetizers while the main course finished. A great way to step outside the workday for a bit.

Yes — check out our Activations.
